Show us your singles - Laura

I want to introduce you to my sister, Laura (that's her above holding her newest nephew a few weeks ago) .  She is awesome and deserves the best guy out there, hoping she’ll find him thru Kelly’s blog today.

Let me tell you a little about my fantastic little sister, I’ve tried bullet points but it’s just not accurately describing her she’s more of a run-on sentence, Smart-Witty-Caring-Eclectic-Loyal-Talented-a little nerdy-CPA studying-church going- tea drinking auntie.

Yep, she’s all those.  So smart she got a full ride for her undergrad to a private catholic college and now has her master’s degree… she’s prepping to take the tests for her CPA license now.

She is funny and fun to be around, but not in the obnoxious life of the party sort of way, more like she’s the gal you want to spend time with because she makes YOU feel like you are the life of the party.  She’s nice to EVERYONE and makes everyone feel like they are important.  And she’s funny too.  She has what is probably best described as “accidental humor”.  She just seems to see life a little differently than most folks, the little things that we take for granted/assume/don’t notice, she makes humorous.

She’s a little nerdy (note the Bruce Lee shirt in the pic below).  She loves Monty Python movies, Star Trek and gets way too excited about things like office supplies.  She can also keep up with our brother’s “techie speak”, which is saying a lot.

She’s talented.  She pretty much taught herself to craft and sew and her homemade Christmas presents (everything from aromatic bath salts to sewn gifts) are highly coveted by friends and family, she makes AMAZING things!

She’s loyal.  Some 20+ years later she still hangs out with the same small group of gal pals.  They’ve been friends since Girl Scouts and still make time (although they don’t all live close anymore) to stay in touch and even go on trips together.

She’s the best Auntie to my kiddos and they love her, we all do.

Here’s hoping she finds you Mr. Right…
